Quick answer
The system has no channel for personal influence over review conclusions. Applications are recorded online, while review, fatwa and issuance are handled by separate bodies. Claims that contacts can change schedule or outcome exploit information asymmetry to close a sale. Ask for roles, process and timing in writing; anything that cannot enter the contract is nonexistent. A credible LHLN says timing depends on documents, corrections, scheduling and fatwa progress.
Detailed explanation
Why special-access claims do not hold up
Acceptance, review, fatwa and issuance are performed by BPJPH, the review body and MUI in sequence, recorded in SIHALAN and checked against each other. No single party can decide for another stage, and there is no lawful channel to bypass the fatwa.
Three typical lines
- We know the reviewers, so nonconformities can be relaxed.
- We hold internal scheduling power and can jump the audit queue.
- If the certificate gets stuck, calling me directly solves it. These promises are either undeliverable or imply improper conduct; if detected, the company's certificate may be suspended or revoked, and the company bears the loss.
Three questions that force a real answer
- Put the responsible body for every stage into the written proposal.
- Explain which factors affect timing and which outcomes nobody can promise.
- List each service action and deliverable in a contract appendix. Vendors willing to write clearly and put promises on paper are the only ones worth continuing with.
